This latest release incorporates our new bundled plugins for Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom Classic plus support for Open Sound Control (OSC):
Adobe Premiere Pro
Capture One was the first application to offer multiple options to export your work simultaneously. Now, this is also a part of Lightroom ’s quiver, but I think Capture One still offers more in terms of exporting. By the use of Process Recipes, you can choose to export your images in as many output file types as you need. I've been testing Capture One 10 and Tangent's Ripple device. Ripple - Tangent: Tangent I gotta say, I'm impressed. It's a significantly faster way to edit with C1. Still working out the best layout of controls. I'd also like to be able to remap the reset buttons by the dials but overall. It seems that Capture One has switched to a new release cycle with two main releases per year. Capture One 20.1 (13.1) brought reworked Heal and Clone tools, the new Before/After tool, Nikon’s collaboration, and even a new logo! Such major upgrades were always a prerogative of the Main Release of the Year, such as Capture One 20 or 21. One of the new features in Phase One's latest version of Capture One, version 10, is the facility to work with control surfaces from Tangent. As a prolific photographer, and having recently upgraded to C1 V10 I decided to give Tangent's entry level control surface, the Ripple, a whirl.
- Enhanced support for Premiere Pro – audio and effects can now be controlled.
- Over 100 additional controls have been added.
- We’re also hoping that Adobe will add further support for Lumetri in due course – we’ll keep you updated when we have further news.
Adobe Lightroom Classic
- This is the first time that Lightroom can be controlled from Tangent surfaces through an Adobe API. Default maps are included for Element, Wave2 and Ripple.
Open Sound Control
This is our first step to add comprehensive OSC support for our panels, allowing control of Unreal Engine, Disguise Media Server and any of the other many tools which support OSC. This release includes:
- OSC messages sent on button presses and releases
- OSC messages sent on Knob, Dial and 3-axis trackerball movements
- Panels receive OSC messages to update their displays with Status Values, Bar Graphs or Text.
Details of this are included in the Mapper Manual but we’ve also produced an OSC Quick Start Guide to help you map panels controls to start sending OSC messages.

Our team is committed to staying independent and earning your trust for as long as you need our apps. I want to schedule a recurring task to remind me to pay a bill. It's due on the 1st, but I'm not nearly as engaged with Todoist on the weekend as I am during the week and I don't want to miss it.
